With 25+ years in energy and manufacturing, including senior roles at Indian Oil, specializing in solar, oil & gas, and environmental sectors. An IIT Kharagpur Chemical Technology alumnus, having commissioned 80 MW solar projects and driving green energy and hydrogen initiatives.

Ovais Sarmad
Board of Director
Mr. Ovais Sarmad joined the UNFCCC on 1 September 2017, supporting the Executive Secretary in managing the secretariat and strategic operations. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff to the Director General at IOM in Geneva. Over 27 years at IOM, he held various management and policy roles. Before that, he worked in London’s private and public sectors, qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (GCMA). He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.
Himanshu Gulati

Himanshu Gulati, Member of Parliament, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Norway, was born on June 16, 1988, in Førde, Norway, and is a Norwegian politician of Indian descent from the Progress Party. He joined the party's youth wing at 15, later becoming its first multicultural leader (2012-2014). At 25, he became Norway’s youngest State Secretary (2013) in the Ministry of Justice and later served in the Prime Minister’s Office (2014-2017). Elected to Parliament (Stortinget) in 2017 and re-elected in 2021, he has served on Justice, Family, Cultural Affairs, and Education committees. In 2019, India awarded him the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman for contributions to politics and the global Indian community. Passionate about filmmaking and foreign policy, he advocates for immigration reforms, taxation policies, and cultural integration.
Clayton Norcross

Clayton Norcross, born on September 8, 1954, at Edwards Air Force Base and raised in Arcadia, California, is best known for playing Thorne Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. Beyond acting, he is dedicated to humanitarian and environmental causes. After California wildfires affected his sister’s family, he launched a GoFundMe campaign, splitting funds between displaced families and animal rescue efforts. Collaborating with Indian writer-director Sonu Tyagi, he promotes spiritual and environmental awareness, encouraging sustainable living. His advocacy reflects a deep commitment to relief efforts and ecological conservation, making a global impact.

His *Experium* project, a 150-acre botanical garden near Chilkur Temple, promotes biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and environmental education. Through *Harley’s Fine Baking and Coffee, he champions sustainable dining with eco-friendly packaging and organic sourcing. In eco-tourism, he envisions Telangana’s cultural festivals inspired by Burning Man and Rio Carnival. His **MY Fashion and Saree Tales* brands revive traditional handloom textiles, reducing reliance on synthetic fabrics.
